The Urban Internet of Things workshop addressed the current and future research in ubiquitous and mobile computing for urban space. Selected authors presented new research projects and demoed their prototypes. The morning presentation session at the IBM headquarters in Tokyo was followed by a less formal hands-on session at Tokyo hackerspace. All papers are available at the workshop website.
The workshop was organized by Vlad Trifa and Dominique Guinard from ETH Zurich Institute for Pervasive Computing, Kristian Kloeckl from MIT SENSEable City Lab and Karmen Franinovic from IAD.
