The ongoing development of digital media and their proliferation in everyday life have resulted in a culture of constant change in business and society. One consequence for the financial industry is that fundamental values such as security, discretion and trust must be given greater attention in the design of technical systems. The extensive use of digital media is also changing customer needs and expectations concerning the transparency, availability and comprehensibility of the information provided.
The SDFB takes up these topics and develops innovative concepts and model solutions for communication, information and transaction services. As a result of its applied R&D activities, it is able to create customer-oriented media solutions that optimize the relationship between financial service providers and their customers.
